3 Body Problem Boss Explains How Global COVID Response Influenced Humanity In The Netflix Series
The villain of Netflix’s 3 Body Problem is existential instead of literal. The first season is about the human race discovering that a potentially hostile alien race is coming to invade in a few centuries, and the world’s brightest minds have to figure out how to address the incoming threat, or whether to address it all.
“It’s a choice between optimism or action to right wrongs, so a passive optimism or the choice to go in and get your hands dirty,” series star Rosalind Chao explained to GameSpot in a recent interview. “[The creators] really made it so that people from every corner of the world can identify. It’s certainly not sci-fi. It’s about humans interacting in periods of great stress and possible elimination.”
3 Body Problem is adapted fr…
Xbox Series X Vs. Series S- Which Sells Better-
The massive Xbox document leak has revealed lots of juicy information about Microsoft’s gaming plans and other information, including a breakdown of Series X and Series S sales. As it turns out, Microsoft’s prediction that the less expensive and less powerful Series S would be the better-selling device turned out to be true.
IGN reports that one of the leaked documents shows that Series S accounted for 74.8% of sales, with Series X making up 25.1%, at least in the relatively early days of the platform’s lifecycle. This information is accurate as of early 2022, but the mix has shifted significantly since then, it seems. Circana analyst Mat Piscatella said on Twitter/X that Series S makes up “a bit more than half” of total sales of new Xbox consoles in the US.
Xbox's Phil Spencer Reflects On "Dark Days" During Microsoft-Activision Buyout Process
When Microsoft was in the regulatory process of acquiring Activision Blizzard, there were some “dark days,” Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer said in an interview with IGN. He said Microsoft had to plan for “all contingencies,” and that included the deal not getting done.
“We consider everything. You have to in running the business. But we felt like we were on the side of right, meaning we weren’t doing this so we could pull Call of Duty from PlayStation players. It was never in our plan. I mean, I think my whole inbox leaked on the internet, so if anybody wanted to find that that was the plan, you would find it somewhere and it wasn’t there,” Spencer said.
Spencer said Microsoft “stayed convicted” throughout the process, despite some obstacles like when the UK’s Competition…

You Don't Need To Think Of Lego Builds Ever Again With This AI-Powered App
Assembling Legos can be rough, what with the exorbitant amount and often mismatched bricks we have just laying around. However, the process has been simplified by developer Brickit’s app of the same name, which uses AI to scan and offer suggestions on what to build.
Brickit, available now on iOS with an Android version coming this fall, uses your phone’s camera to assess the assortment of Legos you have and then spits out various creations that can be made with step-by-step instructions.
All you need to do is dump your Legos into a pile, point your phone’s camera at it, and let Brickit do the rest. After a brief scanning period, the app then suggests a plethora of constructs while pointing out the bricks you’ll need. It even tells you how many bricks are necessary and which …
